Live-in Guesthouse Helper Wanted in the Heart of Nagoya, Japan
Hello! We are a small and friendly guesthouse located right in the center of Nagoya, in the lively Sakae area.
Our location is amazing – just a short walk from PARCO (where the Pokémon Center is located) and very close to the famous Osu shopping district. Everything is nearby, including restaurants, cafes, shops, and nightlife.
Travelers from all over the world stay with us, so it’s a great place to meet people, speak English, and enjoy cultural exchange. Sometimes our staff and guests go out for meals together, and it’s a fun and relaxed international atmosphere.
It’s also a great opportunity if you want to practice or learn Japanese!
Our guesthouse is relatively small, with a limited number of rooms, so it’s usually quiet and comfortable compared to larger hostels.
Your main tasks will be:
• Cleaning guest rooms and common areas after check-out (starting around 12:00 PM)
• The cleaning usually takes about 2–3 hours, depending on the number of check-outs
• Taking out the trash in the evening
• Occasionally helping guests with simple communication
We are looking for someone who enjoys talking with guests and spending time connecting with travelers from around the world.
